Christmas music hasn’t really evolved much over the past two decades, but I always make it a point to discover a new Christmas album each year. Usually, it’s a compilation of the most popular Christmas carols. This year, however, has been quite unique. Taylor Momsen, the former child actress who played Cindy Lou in How the Grinch Stole Christmas and the lead singer of Pretty Reckless, has released a Christmas album. It features a blend of rock and blues, and the standout moment is Taylor singing a duet with her younger self. It’s definitely my favorite Christmas album of the year!
