Longtime followers know that I have supported Recreational Horizons for several years now. This October is no different. I just returned from our latest adventure to California. We took 56 people to Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, and Universal Studios California. It was a wonderful trip that I know the participants will carry fond memories with them for the rest of their lives. For my new readers, first let me say welcome, then you may be asking what is Recreational Horizons. Recreational Horizons is a 501(c)3 that takes individuals who have special needs on trips. These trips are the highlight of their year. Many of them due to their disability and the stigma associated with that wouldn’t be able to enjoy trips like the one Recreational Horizons provides. The trips were paid for by a subsidized payment by the participants and by the generosity of people like you. Our largest fundraiser is no longer available to Recreational Horizons so they need your help. Donations of any amount will help us to provide special trips for people with special needs, and since we are a 501(c)3 charity all donations are tax-deductible.
