I have been bombarded with questions since I mentioned in my Coping With ADHD post that I play games on the Nintendo Switch. I have been asked to share what games I am playing and my friends code so my readers can reach out and play games with me. At first, I was reluctant to write about these subjects on this blog because I wanted this page to be about the art of writing, but after several days of reflection, I reversed that decision. Writing is not only the art of putting words on the page and reading, both of which are essential, but by playing games, most of them with good stories, one can learn a lot about storytelling or, at the very least, have an enjoyable time in the story elements they have.
Firstly, I will start things off with my Nintendo Friends Code. It is SW-0332-6093-8632. Details on how to add me as a friend are here. Each user is allowed to have up to 300 friends on Nintendo’s System, so each month, I will go in and remove inactive friends to allow everyone to get a chance to play games with me. Thank you for wanting to play games with me it is a humbling experience.
The next question I get asked all the time since the Coping With ADHD post was published is “what games am I playing” this is not a short list, but I going to list seven here for reference of some of the games I play often:
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- Switch Sports
- Splatoon 3
- Super Mario Odyssey
- Animal Crossing New Horizons
- MLB The Show 23
- Gamboy Tetris
In conclusion, I hope to see you in the game world, and if there is another game that you think I should play, drop a comment or e-mail me and I will give it a try.
