First, we need to mention my backpack of choice: the Peak Design every day Zip 20L. It’s a camera bag by design, but I find myself drawn back to it for my everyday use time and time again.
With all the stuff that I carry in this bag, which in some cases is my actual lifeline, I pack an Apple Air Tag inside with it set to notify me if the bag is left behind or if someone walks away with it.
Also, I carry a SanDisk 256GB Ultra Dual Drive Luxe USB Type-C. You never know when you might need to revert back to sneakernet, and with Apple being all in on the USB-C, except for the iPhone, I need a drive that can switch from USB type A to type C.
To help with my ADHD and PTSD, I often need something to just fidget with, so I turn to the Antsy Labs Antsy Labs Graphite Fidget Cube. Between these cubes and nerf guns, I have more than enough toys on my desk.
While this next item is being phased out by either the Apple notes app or Moleskin notebooks, currently in my backpack, I have two Field Notebooks. One in my main pocket and another in the tech pouch, which we will discuss later.
I have switched completely to usinentirelyS-Gel, Gel Pens, Sleek Metal Barrel pens for my day-to-day writing. I have them in black and red ink for writing and marking up documents.
Due to the t-stent in my neck, I have to take breathing treatments ev6 hours, so hence I carry a portable breathing SVN.
This next one is a personal preference. I mean, the Mbeautifulir has a wonderfurackpad, and I do use it from time to time, but for long work sessions, I use the Logitech MX Master 3 for Mac.
If you are going to carry such an expensive mouse, I recommend a case. Enter the Hermitshell Hard Travel Black Case for Logitech MX Master 3.
Cables and mcables. First off is the Anker [2-Pack 3ft] Premium Nylon USB-C to USB-A. Next is Anker Nylon USB C to USB C Cable. Lastly, is Anker Powerline II Lightning Cable, [3ft MFi Certified] because of Apple.
Next is a mouth full, Anker PowerCore Fusion 10000, 20W USB-C Portable Charger 10000mAh 2-in-1 with Power Delivery Wall Charger. Essentially this is a wall charging block with a built-in 10000mAh battery with one USB-Ane USB-C port on it.
Another charger, but this one is the Anker 621 Magnetic Battery (MagGo), 5000mAh Magnetic Wireless Portable Charger with USB-C Cable. This is an older model, but it still has enough juice to fill my iPhone 12 Pro Max once if I run it down in the field.
I’m still rocking my 2020 13.3-inch MacBook Air Apple M1 Chip with 8‑Core CPU and 7‑Core GPU – Space Gray. The M1 dose everything I throw at it and unless I’m using Final Cut Pro for 30 minutes or more I see no slowdown.
For all my on the go gaming I use a Nintendo Switch Lite. It’s lite and protabale and the games are fun and I can easily play a match of Spatoon or Mario Kart and then get back to work within my inloted breaktime I give myself.
The Game Traveler Nintendo Switch Lite Case is my case to protect my Switch Lite as we travel.
What’s in my Peak Design Tech Pouch is for another day. It is one the few items that I move from bag to bag if I need to take my mirrorless canmra setup.
