My Everyday Carry (EDC) is like a revolving door of items. As technology evolves, so do my EDC essentials. It’s been six months since my last update, so it’s time for another peek into what’s in my pockets.
Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max 512GB Natural Titanium
I wasn’t planning on upgrading my trusty iPhone, but the camera improvements and the USB-C connector made it a must-have for my frequent travels.
Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max Silicone Case with MagSafe – Black
I had my eye on the 12 South BookBook Case for iPhone, but the BookBook Case’s limitations with my video and photography setup led me to switch to the MagSafe case.
Apple iPhone FineWoven Wallet with MagSafe – Black
Since I wasn’t using the BookBook, I picked up the new FineWoven Wallet. It’s been four months, and unlike others online, I haven’t found it to get dirty or gross quickly. It doesn’t patina as the leather version I have, but I can easily switch back and forth since it uses MagSafe.
Victorinox Swiss Army Spartan Pocket Knife
You know me, always the Boy Scout in me, carrying a Victorinox Swiss Army Pocket Knife. It’s an essential part of my everyday carry, and I’ve had to replace it because I forgot I had it in my pocket as I was entering Disneyland.
Apple AirPods Pro (2nd generation) with the MagSafe Charging Case USB-C
Now, let’s talk about my music buddies. I’m a big fan of Apple AirPods Pro (2nd generation) with the MagSafe Charging Case (USB-C). They’re perfect for on-the-go use. Whether I’m working at a coffee shop or grocery shopping, I can jam to my favorite tunes without any hassle. The noise cancellation is amazing for such a small package, and the handoff feature makes working with Apple products a breeze.
Retro 51 Tornado Stealth – Black Cherry Rollerball
And for my fountain pen needs, I can’t go wrong with Retro 51. They make both fountain pens and rollerballs, and I’ve been using their products for years. I recently got a customized Retro 51 Tornado Stealth – Black Cherry Rollerball, and it’s absolutely stunning. I’ve been using it for signing and traveling, and it’s held up great.
Rickshaw Bags Solo Pen Sleeve
To protect my beautiful Retro 51 pen, I use a Rickshaw Bags Solo Pen Sleeve. I customized it to be all red, just like Rickshaw’s begs. This sleeve is made-to-order in their San Francisco, California factory, and it’s made from top-notch material and has great build quality. I’m a huge fan of Rickshaw, and I support them 100%.
So, that’s what I’ll be carrying in my pockets for the summer of 2024. What are your go-to pocket essentials? Let me know in the comments below!
