The base for my wooden pen storage case is a WINDSOR DESIGN 8 Drawer Wood Tool Chest from Harbor Fright and has the FindingKing 50 Slot Bracelet and watch Display Tray Gray Showcase trays inside seven drawers. The wooden tool chest is crafted of hardwood with a walnut stain. The eight drawers are lined with felt to protect the pens and ink bottles. I like the fold-down lid that I use as a protective surface that I use as a place to refill my fountain pens. Each drawer is not deep enough to hold the trays without trimming. I trimmed the bottom border off the trays with an Exacto hobby knife. I trimmed three of the trays to five slots. I placed the trimmed ends against the rails of the drawer’s face to hide the cut edges. I centered the tray in the bottom two drawers. In the top section, under the lid, I use the space for ink storage. I use a Goulet Ink Sample Vial Holder to hold sample vials I buy from the Goulet Pens Company. In the first drawer on the left side, I use it as storage for converters in the included wooden dividers.
