Apple Voice Memos is such a great tool that I really enjoy! Speaking up is faster than typing, even for the fastest typists out there! I’ve set up action buttons on both my iPhone and Apple Watch Ultra to start Voice Memos, and I use it every day to jot down quick ideas that turn into useful notes later. Since I have ADHD, my ideas don’t always go in a straight line; they flow in all sorts of directions. A couple of years ago, Apple added dictation to the Voice Memos app, and with Apple Intelligence, it’s been pretty good for me. Of course, your experience might be different. The main goal of using Voice Memos is to get ideas out of my head and onto the page as quickly as possible so they don’t get lost. I find that Apple Voice Memos are the best and easiest way since I’m so invested in the Apple ecosystem. I record a memo on my watch, and it’s instantly available on my iPad.

Do you use Apple Voice Memos or a similar app?
